--OPEN TO ALL PACHA SETTLERS--
Dr. Robert Puck Varis Allaria Jax
Myth stood in front of the heavy duty double-wide hatch that lead to the central and largest dome structure on the base. Everything was connected by a series of partially submerged tunnels of course, but the sheer scale of the Pacha settlement was more than one could feasibly take in at a glance. She waited patiently as the armored vehicles pulled all the way through the most direct lane to get to her and saved her diplomatic smile until all the new arrivals emerged from their transports.
She had been anticipating their arrival for weeks, and like everyone else working with an unobstructed view of the sky, she had watched their ship cut through the atmosphere. It was impossible to miss, and that meant the native beasts of this planet would most likely have noticed too. They would have to up security for the next couple of days, and be extra cautious with any of their expeditions. Such was the life.
"Welcome to your new home, and congratulations! You won! You got off that dying planet while the getting was still good. I think that deserves a round of applause." She started a soft clap, and the naturalized citizens of their little nation attending (whether to provide on boarding services, or merely out of curiosity) joined her. One of the drivers who'd escorted them across the unclaimed territory closed the distance between the arrivals and the door, and handed her a datapad. She flicked through it quickly, nodding here and there, while the driver waved at everyone to come closer.
"My name’s Myth, Im the steward around here, and as much as I'd love to hand you over to the onboarding team to get you settled and prepared for your individualized orientations, I believe introductions are in order. Please, identify yourselves one at a time, your designated purpose, and give us one interesting fact about yourself. Hell, make it an embarrassing story, and whoever shares the best one gets a week of free dining on my tab." She winked and the anticipatory grins on the regulars faces made it clear this was a tradition they enjoyed and looked forward to.
"So... who wants to go first then?"
