--OPEN TO ALL ON PLANET--
Legend stood a at the entrance to the central Aegis building, the huge arms rising imposingly behind him and stretching out to each of the three sides. It was a good vantage point to watch as the Armored Transports pulled up and dispensed the new batch of Settlers. He enjoyed putting on a little show to introduce them to this new way of life, and as such, he wore no corporate suit or bland Aegis jumper. He stood there at the top of the entry steps wearing a tan pair of cargo pants and hiking boots. Tucked into the pants was a worn down red dress shirt and to top off the ensemble he ware a heavy trench coat. Around his leg was holstered a large energy weapon of some type. All in all he looked like a character out of some western and he liked to think it added to the, you're not in Kansas anymore, attitude.
"Come on up," he said, waving the settlers up to the just below where he was standing. "Name's Legend, I'll be your steward here, which means I'm the Captain of this particular ship. You show me respect and we won't have a problem. Problems cost the company time and money, and Lucy here loves solving problems." he tapped the weapon in his holster to accent his meaning.
"Behind me is the Aegis HQ on this planet, you'll find the commissary, shops, and most of the labs. You'll find your quarters up on the hill behind that. Once you get settled in and find your rooms you'll find your assignments, directions to your work location, and a list of any additional jobs that need doing for more of you contractor types. If you're job takes you outside the walls, make sure you've got an escort, and make sure you're back before dark. Trust me, you don't want to be out there after dark, and we aren't opening the gate again till first light."
He paused to let all that sink in, "Alright? Alright. If you have any questions, don't ask me, ask your supervisor. If you are the supervisor as your department head. If you knock on my door it better damn well be important, and if I knock on yours you can bet that it is. Good, off you go." he finished, turning to walk back into the building ignoring the grins from the current residents who still remembered his talk from when they were new.
